Candee:

Thank you, welcome to this week's episode of Solace: S oul + Grief. I'm Candee Lucas. We're glad you're here. This podcast is sponsored by Catholic Cemeteries and the Diocese of San Jose. The death of a loved one is a very difficult life transition and we hope we can answer some of your questions, help you find where God is moving in your life as you continue your grief journey, and remind you of the power of your faith and love for God. You're always welcome in our circle of healing, love and care. It is difficult to feel special and cared for and loved by God when we are grieving. We may feel he has forgotten us. . We may feel all the attention, all God's attention, is in our lost loved one and is with our lost loved one. So in today's podcast I want to take you back to a moment before your main title was griever or the bereaved one, or widow or widower, or orphan. Before that time, you were loved by God. Let's take time to remember that now. This is how God knew us first. This is how he revealed himself to us. It bears remembering, especially as we grieve . Radical love is a love that is not afraid to be seen, a love that is not afraid to be heard, a love that is not afraid to be heard, a love that is not afraid to be felt. It is a love that is open and vulnerable, a love that is willing to risk everything, a love that is willing to die for it is a love that is not afraid to be different, a love that is not afraid to be different, a love that is not afraid to be alone, a love that is not afraid to be misunderstood. It is a love that is not afraid to be true, a love that is not afraid to be free, a love that is not afraid to be free, a love that is not afraid to be itself. Radical love is a love that changes the world, a love that makes a difference, a love that leaves a lasting impact. It is a love that is worth fighting for, a love worth dying for, a love worth living for. So if you are looking for a love that is truly radical, a love that will change your life, a love that will change the world, a love that will change the world, then open your heart to radical love. Allow it in, let it transform you and let it set you free. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars. You have a right to be here. You belong to the web of life. You are connected to everything. You are part of something greater than yourself. You are a spirit in a body. You are more than your physical form. You are a being of light and love. You are a soul on a journey. You are here to learn and grow. You are here to experience all that life has to offer. You are a work in progress. You are constantly evolving. You are becoming the best version of yourself. You are becoming the best version of yourself. You are a miracle. You are a gift to the world. You are here to make a difference. You are love. You are light. You are peace. You are light, you are peace. You are transcendent. We all travel along the trail of our own lives, meeting people and going places and acquiring attitudes and likes and loves. Let's start a conversation about yours. Who is or was important to you? Whom or what gives you joy? Imagine tomorrow's wishes and dreams. How do you experience them? What is at the end of the trail for you? Who is with you? Where are you? What music would be your soundtrack? What books or stories, prayers or poems bring you tranquility and calm? How do you picture yourself then If this is your movie? How does it end? That concludes another episode of Solace. A new one drops every Friday. Please subscribe to us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, amazon or find us on Google.
